On behalf of Barrow Rangers GAA and Camogie clubs I am delighted to announce that Barrow Rangers GAA has been allocated the maximum grant applied for of €149,456 from the Sports Capital Programme.

I wish to sincerely thank Frances Kelly and Pat Drea for their tremendous work in securing this fantastic result. The progress we have made to date, with the purchase of the 7 acres and access road, the commencement of the enabling works, and the delivery of the walking/running track is a fantastic achievement. It is a testament to the people of Paulstown and Goresbridge whom have done all possible to assist in the progress of the development. These funds will now secure and guarantee the realisation of the new sports pitch and adjacent training pitch.

A fabulous result for the parish of Paulstown/Goresbridge, the clubs and all our players.
