Our Under 13s were crowned County championship winners against a strong Mullinavat team at Pairc na Seamroig, Ballyhale on Sunday 10th October 2021.

Barrow Rangers were quick out of the blocks and took a lead early on with a point from play, and held their lead throughout the match. Three unanswered goals gave a comfortable cushion but doesn't tell the story of the workrate and determination of these young lads throughout the match.

Barrow Rangers continued their quick and fluid brand of hurling throughout, and when the inevitable fightback from worthy opponents began, their calmness and determination shone through.

The cool heads from the selectors on the sideline moved the players around the field, and astute substitutions kept the team pushing towards the finish line.

The final whistle brought massive celebrations on the sideline from a large travelling support, and despite their defeat, Mullinavat showed great sportsmanship as they left the field.

Team Captain, Jack Keating raised up the cup to start another round of celebrating. It was a well earned and deserved end to a fantastic season.
