The GAA organisation have reaffirmed and promoted the GIVE RESPECT GET RESPECT initiative recently. As you'll recall, this message was sent out to all our players, members, and supporters by James Flavin, our chairperson.
GIVE RESPECT - GET RESPECT is an awareness campaign that seeks to ensure that Gaelic Games are promoted and played in a positive, fair and enjoyable manner and where Players, Coaches, Spectators, Parents/Guardians and Referees Give Respect – Get Respect from each other.
The Give Respect - Get Respect initiative, promotes a culture that is inclusive and open and one that holds the following values, Everyone in the club will respect the rights, dignity and worth of each person, regardless of ability, age, culture or ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, or religious belief. The GAA Respect Initiative aims to promote positive behaviour and to ensure that an enriching environment is provided for the promotion and development of our games.
