The Under 15s competed in Division 2, in B grade on Saturday 21st. First up came Mooncoin and with a few exchanges in front of goal, a rapid burst of two goals gave Barrow Rangers breathing room by half time. The team controlled the second half and started the tournament with a win. The quick turnaround saw them up against Slieverue, who took an early lead before Barrow Rangers started firing again. The first half lead was extended and it finished with a comfortable scoreline. The lads topped the group and into the Cup semi final against a fancied Danesfort. Two quick goals again in the first half saw them take control, and the impressive doggedness and defending kept them in front throughout. A hectic finale to the match resulted in captain Cain Scully clear his line and lead his team into the final. Over the road they went to NOWLAN PARK, lining up agianst Graigue Ballycallan. We took an early lead, and although Graigue ran out winners, the scoreline does no justice to the effort put in by our lads. The game pivoted on a few tight margins that fell the way to our opponents. Well done to them, but fair play to all the lads from Barrow Rangers.
