Our Under 16s took to the field in Thomastown on 1st December to challenge the hosts in the Kilkenny Roinn A football shield final. 

Played in good conditions for the time of year, a tentative start by both moved to Barrow Rangers taking control of the final, with great movement and work rate that didn't quite translate to scores in the board. 

A dominant second half by the visitors helped Barrow Rangers push ahead, and deservedly won with an impressive score of 5-10.
